Yahoo Mail not getting forwarded mail

Hi Sandy. With regards to my earlier request for the incident number - the issue would still be handled between Yahoo and ZoneEdit obviously. (They have already stated that: "Unfortunately, we are unable to disclose details of communications between ZoneEdit and Yahoo"... even though I wasn't actually asking them for this!)

As you've already noted, the issue is recurring: "we are delisted only to be relisted the next day".

This just an opportunity to escalate the case via their Customer Care - so that it gets resolved sooner. I think it would be wise to take this opportunity - the issue has already been going on for quite a while as you know, and is obviously affecting quite a few users.

Hello. Did anybody affected try easyDNS by any chance. My yahoo email has all my filing directory set up and I really don’t want to have to start again with a new email provider and have half in one place and half anywhere else. Does anyone have a view as to whether this is an isolated zoneedit-yahoo issue or are yahoo blocking any service that uses Mail maps to forward wildcard email

By the way I have tried a test message nearly everyday to a specifically mapped address and none have been delivered, either to spam or to my inbox

Totally agree. I don’t understand zone-edit’s stance here if you have been asked by yahoo for a case reference?

we do not get a case references as we are not a yahoo client, we fill out their on line forms

Sandy, Thank you for working on this! Working with a gigantic company on something like this can be difficult. If there's anything us users can do to help, let us know!

Mail forwarding appears to be somewhat working again - several (but not all) messages from the past 48 hours have come through to my Yahoo mailbox in the last 6 hours.

I heard back from Mark @ Zone edit overnight

His message below

There was a problem with Yahoo throttling our forwarded email - a constant risk with major carriers.

Apparently this was resolved today - can you check?

I have carried out a test this morning and a specific mailmap that I have been using to test is indeed working today. I will switch back on some more specific addresses and not the wildcard *@ and see how it goes. If all good then I need to fwd the last 3 weeks email that I want to archive back from gmail to yahoo

Hello @Kaz

I have switched on some specific Mail maps and they seem ok. How are you seeing things. Do you believe everything is now getting through?

Regards

Simon
