Yahoo Mail not getting forwarded mail

If anyone receives a response from Yahoo Customer Care suggesting that the sender needs to open a support ticket, please raise the following points with them:

"Hi, thanks for the quick reply but that's not really an acceptable resolution - for a few reasons:

1. Thousands of ZoneEdit users are affected, which would mean contacting thousands (potentially millions) of senders. Do you guys really need a million support tickets to be lodged to fix this ongoing problem?

2. If Yahoo users aren't receiving emails from senders because Yahoo is blocking them - and there's not even a notification from Yahoo that these incoming messages are being blocked - then we have no real way of determining exactly who is trying to email us (i.e. we don't know which senders we'd even need to ask to open the support tickets you've suggested).

3. Many of the affected users (including me) have paid Yahoo subscriptions. We pay for a service and we do expect it to work. (I've had ZoneEdit forwarding email to my Yahoo mailbox for over 20 years.)

4. ZoneEdit has already contacted Yahoo about this issue (multiple times over the past few days, as far as I'm aware)."

It's not an SMTP server, it's a forwarder. It's not the origin of these messages and backscater requires payment to be delisted, its unethical and should be ignored,

I contacted Yahoo via messenger and based on their response I don’t think they actually read my message. They advised me to go to senders,yahooinc.com and also to contact zoneedit(I had advised that I’d already done this) but to also point zoneedit to senders.yahooinc.com

I have signed in but I’m now being asked for company name details etc which are not relevant so I’m unsure as how to proceed. I’ll keep digging around. Has anybody else had any joy in contacting someone at yahoo who is prepared to help?

I've contacted (via Facebook) both Yahoo Customer Care and Yahoo Australia Customer Care... I think they need to remove the word "Care" from their name coz they clearly don't care at all :(

They did advise this:
"If you are missing emails or not receiving messages from a specific provider or domain, the provider will need to complete our Sender Hub form for assistance: https://senders.yahooinc.com/contact/." (Yahoo Customer Care)
"Please make sure that ZoneEdit contacting our Postmaster team via Yahoo Senders Hub to get an assistant." (Yahoo Australia Customer Care)

Hello Kaz. I just chased Yahoo again and got a similar response. Can the zoneedit guys on this thread confirm that they have used this support hub please:

Hello again! We are not experiencing any issues with sending emails on our end. If you are missing emails or not receiving messages from a specific provider or domain, the provider will need to complete our Sender Hub form for assistance: https://senders.yahooinc.com/contact/. If ZoneEdit has already contacted Yahoo, please follow up with them directly regarding the status or any potential resolutions. Unfortunately, we are unable to disclose details of communications between ZoneEdit and Yahoo.

On my test account its working.. but being placed directly on the spam folder.

regards

Hi all, was there any update from Yahoo ? I am also affected since 23Oct. my yahoo mail account doesnt receive anything from zoneedit. Thanks ! :)

Has there been any kind of response from Yahoo. As per the comment from @Kaz above I have been using these Mailmaps for over 20 years and it has been great other than a few smaller outages in the last couple of years. I am sending test messages daily to a specific map, but none have been delivered (I’m not even seeing them in junk as Sandy has experienced)

I now have 2 weeks of my regular email in my gmail account which I am selectively forwarding to my folders in my primary yahoo account. But I cannot keep doing this forever.

I have been looking at the service provided by easydns (https://kb.easydns.com/knowledge/mailmaps/) does anybody have any experience of them?

Yahoo mail is forwarding OK now and has been for days. It is pushing messages into the spam folders .

regards.

This is NOT working Sandy. Several users (including me) are still not receiving messages to our Yahoo mailboxes. (No, they're not going to the Spam folder.)

Also, recent posts on this thread (including mine) appear to have been deleted.

hello. Yahoo is presciently blocking our mail servers. We have sent in a delist request but until that is taken care of you mat consider forwarding your email to a non yahoo address.

I am sorry for the inconvenience
Any update on this? I haven’t seen any new email in a couple of weeks. Unfortunately, my ISP (Frontier) decided to have yahoo manage their email and I have several different email accounts. Never had a problem until yahoo took over.

Due to inconsistent delivery, it is not recommend forwarding to an address using a Yahoo mail server. If you do, we suggest also forwarding that mail map to to an alternate non yahoo address. We have submitted delist reports and we are delisted only to be relisted the next day... we are sorry for the inconvenience.

Hey Sandy (and ZoneEdit staff), I've finally managed to get someone from Yahoo Customer Care to look into this further. They are asking for the incident number (for the request that was filed) - can you send this to me via direct message please?

we are handling this internally thank you,,, we have now posted on the mail maps page... Due to inconsistent delivery, it is not recommend forwarding to an address using a Yahoo mail server. If you do, we suggest also forwarding that mail map to to an alternate non yahoo address.

aol.com email addresses also appear to be affected - I'm not getting anything at my aol.com address.
