hello. Yahoo is presciently blocking our mail servers. We have sent in a delist request but until that is taken care of you mat consider forwarding your email to a non yahoo address.

I am sorry for the inconvenience

This has been affecting me too (and I'm sure several other users too). Any update on when this will be resolved Sandy?

Dan, I deal with a LOT of email-related issues on behalf of staff, clients, friends and family. In general I've found that Microsoft email (outlook.com) has a lot less issues (than Yahoo and Gmail) with regards to rejected/blocked email. This might be worth looking into :)

I was looking into RiseUp but you need an invite to get an account on there servers. Anyone here have an account that maybe could send an invite my way?
Otherwise I may have to try Outlook. I had it at one point and it was difficult to manage.

@sandy If I switch to a new mail dump will the saved up emails that were going to Yahoo be forwarded to the new email?

Thanks,
Dan

that depends on the receiver mail server.. whether it will hold and dequeue or return as non deliverable,

What I meant was does ZoneEdit still have the current queued email? and if I change the mailmap to point to an outlook.com address will the queued message get sent there?

Do you have an estimate when Yahoo might be working again? unfortunately my email server is to old to support OAuth2 so it cannot pull the Email from outlook.com.. This just gets better and better..... :(

@DanMelson . From my experience no. I was able to change my mailmap to a different email service and I’m only getting newly sent emails. Yahoo had ‘released’ emails overnight for me in the uk on Monday and Tuesday evenings. Unfortunately that did not happen on Wednesday night or last night. I saw on another thread that yahoo *may* release what zoneedit have tried to forward, or they could bounce it as undeliverable. I’m unsure as to where all the message I’m waiting for currently reside, whether that’s a yahoo bound queue at zone edit. (I think that’s the case) or yahoo themselves.

Sandy, has zoneedit received any kind of eta from yahoo at all, or are yahoo simply not communicating with you?

Hi,
This yahoo forwarding SNAFU is affecting me too, and I also have the problem where I can't log in to ZoneEdit to redirect elsewhere because my registered email is forwarded to the yahoo mailbox.
Looking for @sandy advice on how to log in to ZoneEdit without receiving a token to my non-functioning Yahoo mailbox.
Thanks
Leigh
Detail:
managed ZoneEdit domain is perfrement.com
login is <available>
login email is <available> which is
forwarding to mperfrement@yahoo.com.au
Can I nominate a new address to have my password token sent to?
If so, leighmbentley@gmail.com would be preferred

Hi again, You do not need to tag me, in fact thats not a great idea just in case im off for the day or on vacation :) New forum posts will be taken care of during business hours of 9 - 6 EST We have not yet heard back from Yahoo so its suggested you may want to forward to a non yahoo address. for access.. please contact us at access@zoneedit.com

regards

Message will be returned to the sender.. not queued so changing the mail maps will not assist receiving already RTRND messages. Some from Yahoo are deferred, in that case they should be available upon changing the mail map destination

Are any of the other affected users on a paid Yahoo Mail subscription? If so, reaching out to Yahoo Customer Care directly may help - you can message them on Facebook. I've already sent a message but I'm guessing that the more complaints they receive, the more likely they will be to actually resolve this issue.

This is the message I sent... if you're contacting them please vary it up a bit, don't just copy'n'paste mine directly:

Yahoo's mail servers have been blocking incoming messages from ZoneEdit for several days now. ZoneEdit has requested unblocking but the problem persists. This is causing problems for many ZoneEdit users who use Yahoo Mail, and many users with paid subscriptions to Yahoo Mail (including me) are considering cancelling our paid accounts if this continues. Can Yahoo please unblock ZoneEdit's servers?"
