Unable to stealth forwards to an https google site; no issue with http site

I am not able to stealth forward www to https . I can do the stealth forward if I change the forwarded site to http

Stealth forwarding cannot be used to forward to a HTTPS site... it breaks the chain of trust on the SSL certificate.
