Unable to setup FreeDNS

I'm trying to setup FreeDNS for a domain that is held with another registrar, I already have a domain setup like this but I don't see a way to setup FreeDNS for a non-local domain. If I try to add the domain it says the domain does not appear to be available? Will this change and allow me to add the domain to manage it's DNS if I change the nameservers for that domain to point to zoneedit's name servers? Or do they no longer allow FreeDNS on a non-local domain anymore? Thanks

Hello,

You would need to add the domain for DNS only- not a new domain registration.
Once the DNS service exists in the ZE account you can add the ZE name servers to the domain at the registrar to connect.

Hello,

If you add the domain you can then downgrade it-
What is the domain and I will add it for free service for you.

It has now been added-

The following nameservers can be used with this domain:

  • dns1.zoneedit.com
  • dns2.zoneedit.com
