Mailmaps not updating?

I did some changes to the mailmaps of my domain, but even 24 hours later, mails are still delivered to the old adresses. Is there a problem with mailmaps?

Apologies, I saw that MX record was not responding. I just reloaded the record and can now see the MX record up and running.
