Mailforwards

Hi..

on the old zonedit system I had mail forwards configured for all my domains that pointed to my own email address.. I'm trying to check this configuration but I cannot find the settings. In the MX handlers I have LOCAL but when do you configure the mail forwards..??

Click the Manage link next to the domain name, then the email tab and then you will see the mail maps link.

thanks

As well as a catch-all, is it possible with zoneedit to do mail suffix matching, we use this a lot with our old mail system [ about to be discontinued :-( ]. Setup a mail forward like this:
jim* -> jim@mydomain.com

then the following incoming emails all go to jim@mydomain.com:
jim364nr@
jimhello@
jim226br@

If not, any chance this feature could be added? Would definitely get us to expand our use of zoneedit services!

You're asking for pattern matching within the alias itself, no we don't support that. Just a flat out wildcard (which will match everything)

Thanks for the (albeit disappointing) response. I assume a flat-out wildcard will be overridden by any more specific forwardings thus:
fred@ -> [destination 1]
jim@ -> [destination 2]
*@ -> [destination 3] - i.e. this handles anything other than fred@ or jim@
