Mail Forwarding Not Working and Tech Support has not replied. How can I get support? This has been going on for about 2 months.

Mail forwarding for udctours.com is also not working. Several test emails have not reached their forwarded destination.

Here is what is reported in the bounced email sent to tmorse@udctours.com, which is supposed to be set to be forwarded to tmorse@terrymorse.com:

I gave up on trying to get zone edit to forward udctours.com mail, so I changed the mx records to use a different service. That service is provided by greatmail.com.

No, I never received your test message.

I added a test mail map for the domain name and it worked fine. can you please create a static mail map as opposed to the wildcard and let me know if that works.

thanks'

I removed the wildcard from mailmaps, then sent a test email from my gmail account to tmorse@terrymorse.com. Here is the bounced email:

Sorry I meant for innertripoutfitters.com

for tmorse@udctours.com.... why is it being sent to a zoneedit mailserver when zoneedit is listed as the tertiary mailserver? is that a setting you have created?

this strange for both addresses the logs are the same:

I don't understand your question:

"for tmorse@udctours.com.... why is it being sent to a zoneedit mailserver when zoneedit is listed as the tertiary mailserver? is that a setting you have created?"

Zoneedit's mail server is listed currently in my mx records with lowest priority because it doesn't work. I tried it with highest priority, and it failed.

Here's what I did, step by step:

1. I set up mx record and mailmaps to forward from @udctours.com to other addresses, following the video provided on your site:

(mx record for udctours.com set to "LOCAL", priority "0")

2. I tested it, and the zoneedit mail server bounced the email attempt with this error:

<tmorse@terrymorse.com> (expanded from <tmorse@udctours.com>): User unknown in virtual alias table
Reporting-MTA: dns; mailfwd1.zoneedit.com
3. Since tmorse@terrymorse.com was listed in my mail map, I concluded that zoned mail forwarding is broken, so I demoted the "LOCAL" mx record to priority "99", and hired a service that works correctly (greatmail).

4. The highest priority mail servers that greatmail has provided work like a charm, including forwarding of @udctours.com to @terrymorse.com.

I am sorry we did not get on the same page with this concern...
it seemed like each time i was looking at the zone file something had changed and was unexpected.

I hope I can be of better assistance the next time you need anything. :)
thanks and take care
