I just registered and tried to start editing my DNS zone.
But it requires payment.

What am I doing wrong?

Hello there,

Mouse over the word "DOMAINS" at the top and select "Add a Domain" from the drop-down menu.

Click the link that says, "Add Free DNS Domain you have already registered" near the top right corner.

That will allow you to sign up for the free DNS service.
