forwarding mail to AOL accounts

For about the past 2 years (if I remember correctly) AOL has been bouncing all forwarded mail. Has someone come up with a solution for this?

If you mean what is my domain, it's sero.name. But as I understand it it's an AOL policy to reject all forwarded email, from anywhere.

Hi. I've opened a ticket with AOL regarding them blocking the ZE mail forwarder. It is likely a case of someone sending spam mail. Once the offender is identified, I should be able to send a de-list request.

You really think it's only zoneedit, and not a general AOL policy that they adopted 2-3 years ago, to reject all relayed email?

Yes, I believe so as they only have 166.88.18.34 (mailfwd2.zoneedit.com) in their list. I am still awaiting their reply, in the meantime a shunt has been put in place as a temporary measure to allow the messages to go.

Thank you. And here I've been putting up with this for years, assuming that it was just an AOL ukase and there was nothing you could do about it. It only occurred to me to ask now, because I thought after all this time perhaps a workaround has been found.

It can be difficult to determine a block on our end because usually the only times we are aware of it is when it becomes a complaint from a customer, or if we get a notice.
