Email conundrum

I recently lost my host and had to change. For the most part I got things 'switched' as needed. One thing that popped up that I haven't been able to clear up is an issue with email. My site uses a .net email which is connected to my personal email (a Gmail address) to reply to me which used to work well. I also have a forward when using the .com email which is not baked into my site (yet).

What I've experienced is the .net addresses are no longer being received BUT when someone sends me something with the .com address it arrives just fine. Checked my settings here and both look to be configured the same. I'm not up on the technical end of things like I used to be years ago as when things work I forget stuff that I used to know. Am I missing something?

I've read about the DKIM and TXT thing with Gmail, but confess I don't totally understand that other than it's an issue with Gmail. Any help one can offer would be appreciated. I did make a copy of a 'unable to deliver' email return if that info would be helpful.

Thank you!
Hope all is well.

To check the settings, we need to know at least one domain in your account (preferably .net). It would also be beneficial to provide us with the bounce email information.

The .net is garage@boonerock.net

Thanks for looking into this!

Thank you for providing the bounce/domain.

The critical part is here:

Diagnostic-Code: X-Postfix; connect to mx.boonerock.net[185.27.134.244]:25:
Connection refused

The domain boonerock.net is not delegated to our nameservers, so it does not use the same MX record as your .COM.

If you do a WHOIS on boonerock.net, the nameservers delegated to the domain are ns1.infinityfree.com and ns2.infinityfree.com. That means any DNS information you have in Zoneedit is not being referenced by the Internet. The Internet looks up the MX record in the infinityfree.com nameservers and directs emails to mx.boonerock.net[185.27.134.244]:25, which is then rejected.

Thanks for spotting the issue, Chris!

Decided to just change the mail to the .com version - faster and easier.

Hope all is well.
