DDNS not updating IP until personal login via 2FA

Hi Zoneedit-Team,

I activated 2FA via Google Authenticator some month ago.
Now for about two weeks DDNS does not update.

Steps to reproduce:

1) called by my home-server if ip changes:

2) test after 1200 seconds (TTL is 600 seconds)
DNS is not updated:-(

3) call 1) again each 1200 seconds to update DNS

4) repeat 2) DNS-test
DNS is not updated:-(

5) Login to zonedit webfrontend in the morning (using 2FA)
DNS is updated some seconds after login without doing anything but login.

two items the MX server myfritz.pfeilsticker.net does not exist as an A host record, only a Cname, This is illegal in BIND. Please make myfritz.pfeilsticker.net an A host record. econdly. Please make the dynamic records TTL no less then 600 seconds.. run anothr update request and let me know when complete.

all problems fixed, but still the same:

change IP from '94.134.152.29' to '82.207.244.71' for www.pfeilsticker.net (Tue Sep 3 15:11:31 CEST 2019) SUCCESS CODE="200" TEXT="www.pfeilsticker.net updated to 82.207.244.71" ZONE="pfeilsticker.net"

DNS not updated from '94.134.152.29' to '82.207.244.71' for www.pfeilsticker.net (Tue Sep 3 15:32:31 CEST 2019), now update to '82.207.244.71' after 1200 seconds SUCCESS CODE="201" TEXT="no update required for www.pfeilsticker.net to 82.207.244.71" ZONE="pfeilsticker.net"

But indeed DNS is not updated:
dig -t a www.pfeilsticker.net @dns1.zoneedit.com

I could disable 2FA for web-login for testing...

are you using the DYN auth code for updates or your zoneedit user account password?

Hi again. ahh we do now see a system issue involving 2FA. Our dev crew is working on this presently
