Missing emails?

I've been using zone edit for a very long time, and haven't made any changes to it anytime recently.

Recently I've had a number of emails not arrive. I've seen them because someone else replied to the thread and only then do I realize I've missed the original.

So far the incoming emails have been Gmail. They don't show up in my spam. The email is sent to my alias on zone edit which then forwards to my own Gmail account.

Any recent changes anywhere I should know about that might be causing me this problem?

Hello,

So Google recently started to require that sending addresses authenticate themselves through an SPF and/or DKIM record. Unfortunately the ZoneEdit mailmaps/forwarding is just a forwarding service and not an email service. Because of this users are unable to enter an SPF or DKIM for authentication as these records are not available.

The fix for something like this is to either use a legitimate email service and have those forwarded or use a different destination address that does not check for these DNS records.

You can find out more about Google's authentication policies through the following:

While I understand that response, the emails I have not received are from Gmail addresses....

Are you saying that the path of From: Gmail > To: Zoneedit > forward: Gmail is no longer valid?

Hello,

If you can provide the following information, I can have our team take a look at the logs to see what may have happened:

1. The originating Gmail address.
2. The mailmap it was sent to.
3. Rough time stamp.
