Use zonedit e-mail forwarding for a domain managed in AWS Route53

Hi,

I've registered a domain with Amazon Route 53 and am using them also for managing the DNS.

I would like to use ZoneEdit to forward my e-mails and to this effect I've setup an MX record pointing to zonedit as follows:

1 dns1.zoneedit.com 2 dns2.zoneedit.com

I've setup a catch-all e-mail map at ZonEdit.

However, whenever I e-mail my domain I get "Relay access denied" bounce.

What am I missing ?

Hello,

dns1.zoneedit.com and dns2.zoneedit.com are not the correct host names to use for your MX record.

Log in to your ZoneEdit account, click the MANAGE link for the domain name, and look for the TOOLS tab.

Click the TOOLS tab, and then click the CHECK link in the ZONE FILE MANAGEMENT line.

This will bring up the zone file for your domain name.

Look for the IN MX line and use the host name to the right of the "0" in your MX record.

Hi El.,

Apologies for the stupid question. Your suggestion, of course, worked. The "relay denied" error kind of threw me off.

Thank you !

Kind regards
