TXT and CNAME records not showing

Good morning

I added two TXT and one CNAME record to a domain on Friday but only one of the records is currently showing in a third party DNS check, albeit they show in my Zone Edit control panel. Surely they should be publicly available by now? Any help greatly appreciated.

Kind Regards

Hi Sandy

Yes, sorry, it's resolvegroupuk.com

I only have one TXT record publicly showing and no CNAME. There should be two TXT and one CNAME.

Many thanks

Chris

Hi Sandy

Yes that does indeed look correct. I have been using http://mxtoolbox.com/SuperTool.aspx and several other similar tools from Google Search. MX Toolbox has always been pretty reliable in the past when checking DNS changes.

How do you do your checking? Apologies, this is not my area of expertise but if there is a more effective way of checking, then great.

Thanks.

i perform a dig command directly on our servers. for mxtoolbox and other checking sites ...you wold need to do your lookups directly on the host so
looking up a cname for domain.com would not give the answer for the cname somethingelse.domain.com as example

Hi Sandy

Fully understood. Thanks for your help, greatly appreciated.

Apologies for my lack of DNS knowledge, I have checked them now on MXToolbox and can see them using the full domain.

Kind Regards
