I recalled receiving an e-mail a number of years ago during ZoneEdit's transition that legacy account is grandfathered for 5 free zones. I did not require the additional zone until now, but I could not find the "Free Domain" button that earlier discussions in the forum mentioned. Is that being discontinued?

The legacy free five zones are being phased out/discontinued.

Chris, I am the beneficiary of two of your free domain hostings. Do I need to be prepared to start paying for this service and will I be informed it the answer is 'yes'? Thank you ZoneEdit for your years of kind support.

You will be informed if anything changes to the free domain DNS hosts. At the moment, you'll be OK with the two you have now.
