Is there an SSL certificate for round-robin hosts in Zoneedit?

Hello!

Let me tell the current setup of my website before I ask my questions.
Please note that I used a dummy name for my website to not reveal the actual website.

So, I have a domain here in Zoneedit named mysite.org with the following DNS settings below:

mysite.org is just a domain name without a physical server hosting it. Whenever mysite.org is accessed, it will redirect to either one of my hosted servers in US or IN via round-robin. Both of my servers in IN and US have their own SSL certs, so we do not have issues with that.

Now, for mysite.org.. whenever users try to access it via https (e.g. OR ), it returns an error like the attached picture below.

I am assuming that this error occurs because it detects that mysite.org does not have an SSL certificate of its own.

Now, for my questions:
1. Given the DNS settings I provided above and given that it is just a domain without a server, is it possible for mysite.org to have its own SSL cert?
2. If yes, I have found this article (https://support.zoneedit.com/en/knowledgebase/article/ssl-certificates) that Zoneedit now offers SSL certificates. Are these SSL certs applicable to my domain mysite.org?
3. If yes, which one is better: RapidSSL or the wildcard one?

I hope you could help me with this one.
Thank you for your support, ZoneEdit team!

HI there.. it sees the certificate would not be installed on the server if I am understanding correctly... What may be helpful is HTTPS forwarding.. Our new HTTPS URL Forwarding feature is now available fas an add on feature. This feature allows users to forward their secure pages to a specified destination address. Although regular URL forwards work almost instantly, the new HTTPS option may take a few minutes. This feature can be found under the regular URL Forward portal. we do not have a zoneedit specific hell site yet but we do for easyDNS: https://kb.easydns.com/knowledge/url-https-stealth-forwarding/

Hi Sandy! Thank you for your prompt response.

Let me just clarify a few things so that I can know if I understand things correctly:
1. SSL Certificate is not applicable to my Zoneedit domain (mysite.org) because it's just a domain with no physical host/server. Is this correct?

2. I have read the link you sent above. If I understand the HTTPS URL Forwarding feature correctly, this will be the scenario:
Let's say I have set up mysite.org to forward to IP xxx.xxx.xx.x1 which is mysite.us, and the HTTPS box is checked:
If users will access my website as https://mysite.org, they will be redirected to mysite.us without encountering the error I reported above? Please note that mysite.us already has its own SSL Certificate and is secured already. I only the domain mysite.org to be accessible via https without encountering the error I reported above.

I hope you could clarify these.
Thank you for your support!

Hi again Sandy!

I have looked into HTTPS forwarding in ZoneEdit, and I was redirected to purchase it as my domain add-on:

I would like to know how much in USD is "1 Credit/ per month".
Thank you!

hi there. the price changes depending on how many credits you buy.. The more you buy the heavier the discount. they are charged in US dollars and start at $1.40 per credit if your account is not in Canada.

regards.
