Hi,
my domain is cspl.me .
I'm using on my home server the ddclient to update my dynamic IP address.
In Zoneedit I have setup a dynamic record:
HOST: @
TTL: 300 sec
CURRENT IP ADDRESS: 95.85.171.50
On my home server when I run ifconfig I get:
eth0: flags=4163<UP,BROADCAST,RUNNING,MULTICAST> mtu 1500
inet 95.85.171.27 netmask 255.255.254.0 broadcast 95.85.171.255
so it seems that, that my ddclient works not.
In ddclient.conf I have:
##
## ZoneEdit (zoneedit.com)
##
server=dynamic.zoneedit.com, \
protocol=zoneedit1, \
login=cl16, \
password='DYN Authentication Token' \
# your.any.domain,your-2nd.any.dom
cspl.me
where 'DYN Authentication Token' is a string that I have already on Zoneedit.
Must I open some port in my firewall ( shorewall I'm using here ) so ddclient can update my dynamic IP address?
