Domain update/Transfer

Hi,

I'm trying to move my domain dewet.org.za from one registrar to another, and the admin email according to whois is outdated. I notice according to an nslookup that the SOA RNAME record for my domain is zone.zoneedit.com (zone@zoneedit.com). Am I able to respond to the transfer/update request that was sent to this email via the zoneedit control panel at all?

Thanks in advance,
Nicki

you would need to contact the domains registrar to modify the whois contacts for the domain
zoneedit is not a registrar for org.za domain names.

thanks

Hi Sandy,

I've attempted that, but the email in the SOA RNAME record normally also get sent the transfer request email, does that cause any notification or possible action in the ZoneEdit control panel to become available for me to approve the transfer request?

I've noticed that this RNAME changes between zone@zoneedit.com and zone2@zoneedit.com. Do these addresses get the email?

Thanks,
Nicki

any data in the SOA record would not be used for a registrar transfer confirmation.
Please contact the domains registrar to update that data if required.

Organisation: Trustees of DeWetshof Estate Trust
