DNS servers not picking up transferred domain

I recently transferred a domain to ZoneEdit. The transfer was successful on the 16th or 17th. I checked the DNS settings in ZoneEdit, and with MXToolbox and intoDNS, and everything looks good. But the domain does not resolve in other DNS servers.

• Resolve-DnsName zybber.com -Server dns1.zoneedit.com: works fine
• Resolve-DnsName zybber.com -Server 1.1.1.1 (or 8.8.8.8 or 9.9.9.9): does not resolve

Note that around the same time as the domain was transferred, my previous registrar also re-registered the domain. It expired at the previous registrar just before the transfer.

Do I simply have to wait because the SOA record states that the expiry time is 1 week? Or is something else going on?

I posted just a few hours too early. DNS servers are now starting to respond with the correct data. I assume all servers will report the correct data soon.

Hi there.

It looks like the domain transferred with DNSSEC in place so there was a mismatch of DS records in the zone,. I have unpublished the DS records and now the zone is loading. If you wanted to re-enable please see: https://support.zoneedit.com/en/knowledgebase/article/dnssec

Great, thanks. There are 2 more domains underway. I'll check their DNSSEC settings.

if you can delete the DS record before submitting the registrar transfer that would be helpful
