SMTP forwarding not working?

Affected domain: istech.nl which uses SMTP forwarding to port 2525 on ns1.istech.nl
Unfortunately no external email seems to be forwarded by zoneedit.

Tested connection using ping command with the following result:

Tested SMTP server using telnet command: telnet ns1.istech.nl 2525

SMTP server seems to be functioning ok

Does anybody have any idea how to solve this? Thanks in advance.

Hi there

at present:

telnet ns1.istech.nl 2525 Trying 83.86.114.67... timeout.

I hope this helps.

Thanks for responding. For me it takes about 15-20 seconds for the 220 message to appear. But it did appear. Just checked again. Did you use a shorter timeout? Otherwise it could be some firewall problem. I will try to check using another connection outside the firewall.

Finally found solution. Traffic was indeed blocked by other network device. I am sorry to have bothered you. Thanks for your assistance.
