mailmap change not effective - delayed propagation?

the zone file looks fine... how long have you waited after creating the mail maps to test? what mail maps can I use for testing if its still not functioning?

I agree the zone file seems fine, it's the ZE "LOCAL" email forwarder that seems to be stuck on the old mailmaps. Its been about 3 hours and emails addressed to are still being sent to the old address, not the new one. Also the catch-all emails are still going to the old address, tested with (Those two are the only mailmap entries that I changed). Does this make sense? The mailmap entries in the control panel are fine, they just don't work! What am I missing here?
