Email forwarding slow

this is starting to look like a gmail issue as we have observed and received reports of google servers not resolving on dig lookups.. even on 8.8.8.8, googles own public DNS servers. at present mail is sporadic for forwarding but we are continuing to monitor the concern.

thanks

I have the same issue with forwarding to gmail. Here are two response times (note that these are about 14 hours and 10 hours):
- Created at: Thu, Oct 27, 2016 at 6:05 AM (Delivered after 50559 seconds)
- Created at: Thu, Oct 27, 2016 at 8:05 AM (Delivered after 37609 seconds)

In both examples I see a softail message about the transitioning domain not designating 23.27.50.10 (mailfwd1.zoneedit.com) as permitted sender. Could that be an issue or is that something that should not impact the time?

Here is more from the two messages (addresses redacted):

To be honest I got fed up with the missing and delayed emails, so I've moved my mail forwarding onto my own server. Since then everything arrives within seconds.
