Years ago I used zoneedit to forward nickredding.ca to a server which is no longer in existence. I have successfully transferred this domain name from netnation to AWS, complete with name server assignment, but for some reason zoneedit is still managing to forward the domain. The last entry in a tracert is "url-fwd.zoneedit.com [64.68.202.11]" and the ip address is the old (obsolete) ip address of the non-existent server.
I don't understand how this can be happening. Does anyone know how I can overcome this hijacking of my domain name?
