Third-level domains (e.g., x.ca.us) cannot be added

Third-level domains cannot be added.
I tried to add another free domain after taking a survey, carlsbad.ca.us.

Your web software has a bug. I tried to add "carlsbad.ca.us" at cp.zoneedit.com/signup/
It took "carlsbad.ca.us" and chopped it off "carlsbad." to give "ca.us"
and gave this error:

cp.zoneedit.com/signup/start.php
I want to use a domain name I registered somewhere else.
Domain: ca.us
Domain: this information is required
error Domain doesn't seem to exist

You may want to fix your web software so it is usable to me and others for
third-level domains.

Hello Dan. It's not a bug. Just a way the current interface is set up to prevent a lot of errors. We are working on improvements to the ZoneEdit interface. In the meantime, send me your user name via private message/conversation, and I'll add the subdomain to your account.
