Repoint my domain name to a new server from ZoneEdit

Hello,
I recently moved my website: chinablossom.com to a new host.

My domain host is still pointing to zoneedit, but just need to repoint from zoneedit to the new website host.

I've changed my nameservers to the new host servers:
ns1.example.com
ns2.example.com

But the domain name is not repointing. Can anyone help with this?

Hello Sandy,

Can you help me understand? At present, my domain name is being held at Network Solutions. The domain is presently being pointed to zoneedit, and at zoneedit, it is being pointed to a particular host. I am trying to change to a new host, hence repoint the domain name.

My question is, that change needs to happen on zoneedit, correct? If I change the nameservers at Network Solutions, won't it just bypass zoneedit?

Thank you!

yes you need to make the change at zoneedit as long as zoneedit nameservers are delegated. but from your initial message it seems you wamnt to change the delegated nameservers from zoneedits to .. as your example:

ns1.example.com
ns2.example.com

so that :
ns1.example.com
ns2.example.com
would be the DNS provider.

is that not correct?

thanks

I'm sorry for the confusion. I would like to continue using zoneedit, however, I've moved the website to a new host. Does this make more sense?

How do I achieve this?
