Register a .gov site

Hello,

I was wondering if anyone was successful in registering a .gov domain name? I didn't see any option for a .gov site in the drop down when trying to register a new domain.

I believe you need to register those with whoever maintains the .gov registry - and I don't even know who that is. But private registrars don't have access to it. I'm going to guess that it's some entity designated by the Dept. of Commerce.

That said, for your DNS you may have to use easyDNS not Zoneedit because as far as I know, DNSSEC is a requirement and we haven't turned that live on Zoneedit (yet).
