Can't connect to router using ZoneEdit (OpenVPN)

Hi all,

I hope you can help me out here.
I would like to connect to my router when I'm not at home. My ISP gives me a Dyn Ip so I've setup a DDNS and configured my router for this.
The only thing now is, I can connect to my router using No-IP DDNS service or using the DDNS service of my router manufacturer (has limited options) but using ZoneEdit I just can't get connected.

Anyone else has/had this problem and has a solution to solve this issue??

20180314 - Update: I do can get ZoneEdit to update my dynamic IP of my ISP but still...can't connect.

Thanks in advance for your help!

ok the sub domain you added is my.dns.org and there is a dyn record for going-to.my.dns.org to use this there would need to be ns record on my.dns.org pointing to zoneedit nameservers
dns1.zoneedit.com
dns2.zoneedit.com

... do you know if the good folks at dyn.org will allow that?

as long as its a domain name or sub domain that you fully control or know in advance that NS records for the sub domain can be created at its parent.

Ok, now I get it. I need to have a registered domain and that I can then use here with ZoneEdit.

I'm going to check into that..

Thanks.
