Add ipv6 nameserver

I'm getting an error when trying to add an ipv6 nameserver.

There is no A record for 2001:4860:4860::8844, so you can not use it as the name server for domain_name.

It seems zoneedit appends my domain name onto the end of the ipv6 address.

Are nameservers like this supported?

Are you trying to add it to your NS records (have you already added the IPv6 nameserver to your delegation with your registrar?)

You can create the AAAA record in your DNS settings:

https://cp.zoneedit.com/manage/domains/ipv6/edit.php

Or are you trying to create a nameserver glue record with the IPv6 address? You need to get that done by your domain registrar.

You can also transfer the domain to us, and open a support ticket to get the glue record created.
