DNS Ready, OK Ready to Delegate for first free domain

Hi Support Team,

I created my first domain "jacyang.ca" on ZoneEdit 2 days ago, but the DNS domain is still in status "DNS Ready: OK Ready to Delegate" by now. Does that mean I should be more patient to allow the new domain record to be propagated to a registry? Or, something is wrong here so I need to request help from support. Appreciate if someone could help.

Thanks

Hello,

It appears you added Free DNS services for a domain name that is not registered:

whois jacyang.ca

Not found: jacyang.ca

%
% Use of CIRA's WHOIS service is governed by the Terms of Use in its Legal
% Notice, available at http://www.cira.ca/legal-notice/?lang=en
%
% (c) 2020 Canadian Internet Registration Authority, (http://www.cira.ca/)

What you'll need to do is "delete" the current Free DNS service from your account

Once that is done, go to the "DOMAINS" option in the blue bar at the top and select "Add a Domain".

Then type the domain into the first field as per the screenshot:

I just realized that "add a domain for Free DNS" doesn't register a free new domain name at same time and I should pay to register a new domain name by ZoneEdit. Thanks for your help anyways.

That is correct. Free DNS is provided for domain registrations that you own or manage already. We cannot offer free domain registrations as we pay a fee to the TLD registry for each domain name that is registered.
