SOA record for domain has incorrect primary nameserver

Good day,

While attempting to diagnose issues with a new server at SOPHSOFT.COM, I discovered that the SOA record lists 'dns0.zoneedit.com' as the primary nameserver, when the two assigned nameservers are ns12.zoneedit.com and ns14.zoneedit.com. (I have never seen dns0.zoneedit.com before.)

Is there somewhere that I can fix this myself and, if not, can somebody resolve this issue for me?

Also, I note that the current SOA serial number (1499213530) is throwing warnings for not conforming to the YYYYMMDDxx standard.

Thanks in advance,
Gregg

Hello,

Actually, there's nothing to fix here :)
- dns0.zoneedit.com is the primary master nameserver for our zones. It has a valid A record and when queried, it gives the DNS data for your domain.
- The serial-number format that we use is `unix timestamp` which is also a valid time-format for dns zones.

Hence, you may safely ignore these warnings. The problem is that some dns-checks on the Internet are quite ambitious and complain about unnecessary details.
