IPv6 answers even when not configured

I'm having a problem installing a letsencrypt.org process... I've not configured any IPv6 addresses, yet when we do the DNS lookup it gives inappropriate answers (should say there is no record). The records are internal.meu.edu.lb and proquest.meu.edu.lb. Any idea how I can prevent this from happening? It didn't have this problem until a few days ago.

Hi there

Can you please reply with a copy of thise lookup results.

as well I do not see the IPv adressing:
p.p1 {margin: 0.0px 0.0px 0.0px 0.0px; font: 10.0px Monaco; color: #00f900; background-color: #000000} p.p2 {margin: 0.0px 0.0px 0.0px 0.0px; font: 10.0px Monaco; color: #00f900; background-color: #000000; min-height: 14.0px} span.s1 {font-variant-ligatures: no-common-ligatures} span.Apple-tab-span {white-space:pre}

dig @ns2.zoneedit.com a internal.meu.edu.lb

further... I se the domain is delegated to zoneedit at the root servers... ( at the domains registrar):

p.p1 {margin: 0.0px 0.0px 0.0px 0.0px; font: 10.0px Monaco; color: #00f900; background-color: #000000} p.p2 {margin: 0.0px 0.0px 0.0px 0.0px; font: 10.0px Monaco; color: #00f900; background-color: #000000; min-height: 14.0px} span.s1 {font-variant-ligatures: no-common-ligatures} span.Apple-tab-span {white-space:pre}

but in the zoneedit zone file you have NS records pointing to:

p.p1 {margin: 0.0px 0.0px 0.0px 0.0px; font: 10.0px Monaco; color: #00f900; background-color: #000000} p.p2 {margin: 0.0px 0.0px 0.0px 0.0px; font: 10.0px Monaco; color: #00f900; background-color: #000000; min-height: 14.0px} span.s1 {font-variant-ligatures: no-common-ligatures} span.Apple-tab-span {white-space:pre}

so its really hostgator that are providing the DNS service,

thanks

Given that the registrar (zeina.aub.edu.lb) points correctly to zoneedit, how do I make zoneedit not point to hostgator? I'd love to have hostgator out of the mix... I can't find any place in the zoneedit website to remove them...

on your zoneedit members page.. manage the zone file and remove the NS records pointing to hostgator and enter NS records pointing to

ns2.zoneedit.com.

ns8.zoneedit.com.

thanks
