DNS updates not propagating

Hi,

I've used ZoneEdit for free DNS on my domain since May 2001 (evilbruce.com), but in the last few days IP address updates have stopped propagating to DNS servers. When I check my ZoneEdit page, it shows the proper address (currently 67.1.203.214), but attempting to ping it yields 67.1.216.107, and has so for several days. How can this be fixed?

Also, I just tried to add a second domain to my account, but the only option is 1 credit/month. How to I add it another free one? I used to have a second, but dropped it several years ago. It was my understanding that old accounts are allowed up to 5 free domains. (If it helps, I still have a copy of my original signup email dated 5/9/01 showing confirmation number 430857.)

Thanks,
Bruce

Hello Bruce.

I've fixed the propagation issue, not 100% sure what was causing it but the nameservers were holding on to that old record due to a TTL error. This should be fixed now.

As for your free slots, try now and see if you are able to.

I have changed my Name server to...
ns1.bluehost.com
ns2.bluehost.com

on last Sunday.

Today is Wednesday it is still showing?
NS13.ZONEEDIT.COM, NS9.ZONEEDIT.COM.

which is old and I changed them.

I find that the changes are not happening.

Please help

nameserver changes can only be made at the domains registrar. the ns links are for ns records inside the zone file only.

for your domain name you will need to contact:
Registrar:
123-Reg Limited t/a 123-reg [Tag = 123-REG]
URL: http://www.123-reg.co.uk
